Hostle Life

I still remember my first day,
Full of craze and excitement.
Seniors were like huge buildings,
Held were several meetings.

The year of class 'X' was a year to remember,
Now i was used to the trouble between hosteller and day scholar.
The terms like hostel unity,
Were now taught by a majority.

Boards played a crucial role,
And shattered everyone's sole.
As they thought of an average one,
After results got appreciation from everyone.

Another year and class 'XI' arrived,
And towards my goal advanced I.
With some feeling of authority,
and some sense of maturity.

And here comes class "TWELFTH",
With tensions and burdens every month.
Becoming senior most comes with great responsibilities,
And if not prepared leads to difficulties.

Thought of leaving hostel used to make me tense,
now I think of it as a non-sense.
As rightly said every beginning has an end,
But this is a continuum which has no end.

Now I think hostel life as the best part of life,
As it teaches one to live life with pride.
Allows to befriend as much as one can,
Overall development depends from man to man.
